Restaurants

Besides Garlic Mike's, Gunnison has a number of good restaurants. The Ol' Miner Steakhouse, 139 N. Main St. (tel. 970/641-5153), serves three hearty meals a day, with an emphasis on beef. For local suds and color and good pub grub, head across the street to the Gunnison Brewery, 138 N. Main St. (tel. 970/641-2739). Or if you're looking for spicy Mexican food, the Blue Iguana, 303 E. Tomichi (tel. 970/641-3403), serves more-than-respectable chimichangas and other traditional dishes.
