Suggested Itineraries

Day 1 Visit the Baha'i Gardens, enjoy the panorama, and take in a wing or two at the Haifa Museum while checking out central Haifa.

Day 2 Spend at least half the day at one of Haifa's fine municipal beaches if the weather's good. Hof Dado, south of the city, is accessible by bus. Choose from among Haifa's other fine museums, such as Clandestine Immigration, Mané Katz, or the Japanese Tikotin Museum for the rest of your day.

Day 3 Excursions! Take one to Mount Carmel, the Carmelite monastery at Mukraqa (with its sweeping view of northern Israel, the site of Elijah's contest with the prophets of Baal), and the Druze villages; or to the artists' village at Ein Hod; or to Old Akko.
