At first there seems to be no restaurant at all behind the sign and posted menu near the corner of Sea Road (Derech Ha-Yam). But go down the adjoining steps and you'll discover a nice cellar dining room with a small-town American-style folksy Chinese decor, done in gold and crimson, with gold tablecloths and fresh flowers. The food is mostly Szechuan style, which can be spicy but needn't be if you don't like hot food. There are 50 items to choose from here; shrimp and calamari dishes are at the high end of the price range. Beer, wine, and cocktails are served.
