Frommer's Review
The decor is bright and ultrasimple, but the food is fresh and comes in big portions. In traditional Middle Eastern style, you're immediately served pita bread (it sometimes comes toasted and drizzled with garlic, but if not, ask for your pita served heated) plus a spread of over a dozen Arabic salads, including hummus, labeneh (a thick, Arabic-style country yogurt), and baba ganouj (smoked eggplant puree). Unless you're really starved, you might skip the first courses, which include shrimp cocktail and deep-fried calamari rings. Go for the fresh whole local fish (avoid imported salmon) and the simply prepared calamari, and shrimp. For meat eaters, the lamb chops are a good choice. Main courses come with french fries and chopped salad. The management is local Christian Arab, so alcoholic drinks are served.
