Frommer's Review
This recently renovated, very modestly priced choice is a small, well-run bed-and-breakfast hotel. The 10 front rooms have an incredibly beautiful view of the city, the harbor, across Haifa Bay to Acre and the mountains beyond. Each of these rooms has an entire wall made of glass, as well as a balcony; get one of these if you can; back rooms (including the one single) are quite ordinary. Guest rooms on the third and fourth floors have been heavily redone and are worth trying for. A real plus is that you get use of the nearby Dan Panorama Hotel swimming pool in season. The long flight of stairs from the street to the hotel's front door is a drawback for many visitors (call ahead if you need assistance carrying bags). The neighborhood is lovely and very central, just around the block from the Carmel Center, with its cafes and restaurants, and the Carmelit stop.
Facilities:
Dining room; use of pool; nonsmoking rooms
