This new, bright, and congenial guesthouse located in an old, atmospheric building, is just what Haifa has needed in the budget price range. It's in the Port area (with its authentic market and Arabic eateries), close to the Carmelit, and bus stops, so you can get all around the city quickly, and not far from the newly restored and gentrified German Colony, with its many cafes and restaurants. Rooms are simple but touched with lively colors; there are dorm beds, and private singles and doubles with or without private bathrooms. There's a lovely garden terrace, friendly lounge/TV room, breakfast room, and you get free use of the kitchen. There's also an Internet terminal (fee). Most important is the super helpful and knowledgeable management.
