Frommer's Review
Run in conjunction with ODC Travel, a Hanoi-based tour company, the folks at the Camellia Group manage a number of good, basic budget stops in the city's Old Quarter. They are not affiliated with the Camellia Mini Hotel. Here, you'll find basic rooms, friendly service, and little else. The best of the six properties is Camellia II on Long Ngoc Quyen. These hotels are always booked out, so be sure to contact them in advance. If Hotel II is booked, try their nearby Anh Dao Hotel. All of these properties have good Internet terminals in the lobby and offer a host of tour itineraries. In fact, most big groups staying here -- usually French budget tours -- have organized their journey through ODC.
Facilities:
Restaurant; tour desk; car/motorbike rentals; business center w/Internet; laundry service

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
