Frommer's Review
Posh and sophisticated, this hideaway is just the place to sneak away to with that special (wealthy) someone, located adjacent to a 5km (3-mile) stretch of pink-sand beach sheltered by a barrier reef. Yes, that was Julia Roberts in a bikini we spotted leaving the cottage next door. The elegant, relaxed retreat occupies an 11-hectare (27-acre) beachfront estate. Although it feels a bit like a pricey private club, it's less snobbish and a lot more hip than the Dunmore Beach Club. The resort's outrageous clubhouse is the most beautifully and imaginatively decorated room in the Out Islands.
The airy, spacious bedrooms occupy cement-sided cottages scattered throughout the grounds and gardens. Depending on the configuration and size, each cottage contains between one and two separate accommodations, with either an ocean or a garden view, mahogany furniture, and elaborate tile work. Each has a kitchen or kitchenette, pressurized water systems, walk-in closets, CD players and a CD selection, wet bars, and private patios with teak furnishings. The interior design features marble floors with area rugs, oversized Adirondack furnishings, local art, and batik fabrics. Fax machines and cellular phones can be supplied if you need them.
Hotel guests get some of the best meals on the island, an "A-B-C" fusion of Asian, Bahamian, and Caribbean cuisine. Dinner is an elegant four-course nightly affair. Lunches are much less formal, served in the Blue Bar, a postmodern beachside pavilion.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
