As it often is with joints that are popular, Lulu's has fallen prey to the deadly sin of self-importance. Service is brisk and can be downright rude. It is casual, noisy, and corny (black velvet paintings at the entrance), but it's undeniably popular, with open-air dining, ocean views, and a sports-bar atmosphere. Other elements include Capiz-shell lamps, clamshell sconces, and hula girl replicas. The offerings include appetizers, sandwiches, salads, burgers, fresh fish tacos, and fresh fish and meats in the evening.
