Frommer's Review
When this bistro cafe opened in a former fish market in Keei, it was fabulous in every respect -- delicious food at frugal prices, friendly service, and quirky decor. The restaurant became so popular it moved a few years ago to a new location with hardwood floors, first-class artwork, and a view of the coast. It got really big really fast and didn't seem to keep up with the rapid growth. The first thing that went was seating people on time. On my last visit, I waited more than an hour for a 7:30pm reservation (the staff was unapologetic). Then the food, once the draw, was no longer dependably good. I'm including the restaurant in this guide because it's so popular, but I can no longer recommend it -- not only because of the not-up-to-par food and the slow service, but more because of the cavalier attitude: The owners are making money (right now) and don't really care how they treat their clientele.
