Frommer's Review
This hotel sits on the banks of the Neckar, just a few minutes from the Altstadt and the main train station. Although it doesn't have the flair and traditional style of Der Europäische Hof (above), it's far superior to its nearest rival, Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza. The exit from the autobahn is only minutes away, making it convenient for motorists. Rooms are comfortably furnished, many with views over the river or the hills beyond. As a special service, the hotel operates a shuttle service to and from Frankfurt International Airport.
Facilities:
2 restaurants; bar; lounge; indoor heated pool; health club; spa; sauna; solarium; room service; massage; babysitting; laundry service; dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms; rooms for those w/limited mobility

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
