Frommer's Review
This grand hotel lies a 20-minute walk from the center on the wooded outskirts of Heidelberg, near the castle. It offers modern comfort in annexes built around the core of an older villa. Guests are assured calm and comfort and can take advantage of the many woodland trails extending through the Neckar Valley. This hotel's setting makes it the best in its price range; hotels in the city center, unless soundproof, get a lot of traffic noise. The room decor is lackluster, but they're comfortable, and contain bathrooms with tub/shower combos.
