Food here is well prepared and cheerfully served within an environment that makes even newcomers appreciate the rich history of Finnish filmmaking. And although the candy-cane decor of bubble-gum red and white might evoke Sunset Blvd., the food derives from places more widespread than just L.A. Yes, there are burgers and big, meal-sized salads on the menu, but items that might be more difficult to come by in Hollywood include reindeer sausages, grilled Arctic char, Szechuan-grilled whitefish with fruit curry and pineapple salsa, and pizzas piled high with, among other ingredients, elk meat, reindeer salami, blue cheese, and cranberries. There's also a children's menu where main courses cost 7€ ($9.10) each. The venue is light, whimsical, and fun, and the food is surprisingly good.
