Frommer's Review
This is an excellent hotel right in the middle of the city center. The rooms are not quite as cozy as those at nearby Park Hyatt, but everything is done on a grand scale, from colossal meeting rooms and top business facilities to enormous, plush guest rooms. Bathrooms are huge, with separate shower and tub. The walls are covered in striped cream and lavender wallpaper for a bit of French colonial flair, and textured carpet in a bamboo pattern lines the floor. Level 23 -- a double-height rotunda space that hosts live bands on the top of the city (the 23rd floor is the highest point for now) -- is a popular nightspot. All public areas are oversize and luxurious, and, from the moment your car pulls up out front, you'll know you've arrived; every guest is given the quality treatment. Executive services -- including a separate check-in area, lounge, and meticulous business services -- create a smooth and easy transition. The hotel is often booked up, and lobby traffic can be hectic at times. Overall, though, this is still one of your top hotel choices for the city center.
