Banks & Currency Exchange -- The Vietcombank branch at 4 Huong Dieu St. has an ATM, exchanges most major currencies, and does credit card cash-withdrawal transactions. Hours are Monday to Saturday 7:30am to 7pm. Hoi An Incombank has offices with exchange services at 09 Le Loio St. At 4 Hoang Diet St., Exchange Bureau #1, across from the Hoi An Hotel at 37 Tran Hung Dao, has exchange services and an ATM. There is also an ATM at the post office . You'll find a Western Union outlet at Vinh Tours (26 Tran Hung Dao).

Internet -- Along Le Loi you'll find service at prices of about 100 VND per minute (50¢ per hour), but access is generally slow. Min's Computer, at 125 Nguyen Duy Hieu, on the northern end of town (tel. 0510/914-323), is as good as it gets and so popular now that if they are full, just pop into one of the copycat shops that has opened up on the same street (try 123 Internet next door). There's also good Internet service right next to the post office at 4B Tran Hung Dao (tel. 0510/861-635).

Post Office -- The post office is at the corner of Trang Hong Dao and Huong Dieu streets and is open Monday to Saturday from 6am to 9:30pm.

Telephone -- The city code for Hoi An is 510. You can place international phone calls from the post office listed above and from most hotels.
