Frommer's Review
A good budget gem on the beach road just out of town (like nearby Hai Yen, reviewed below), the Cua Dai is a good marriage of affordability and comfort. It's easy to settle in here, with its open sitting areas and basic but comfy rooms. The kind staff will make you feel right at home. The only drawback is the busy road out front, but all rooms have double glass and are relatively quiet. Rooms in the new wing in back have fine wooden appointments and creative, local decorations; older rooms in the main building are quite large. Cua Dai is a good base for exploring, and a sure bet for meeting some expats and long-stay travelers here on cultural or humanitarian missions.
