The original of this growing local chain is a good bargain option set in a yellow-and-white faux colonial close to the Central Market. Tidy, basic, tile-floor rooms are just $10 (£5.55). There are no phones or other amenities, and only the few $25 (£14) rooms are of any substantial size (and also have bathtubs). Breakfast is served in a patio in the back with views of the river. The staff is exceedingly friendly. Their second property, on the opposite edge of town, is a similar low-end, workhorse of a place.
