Frommer's Review
A combined restaurant/cafe/bar with sophisticated modern furnishings forms the backdrop for one of the most up-to-date gathering places in Innsbruck. Though it's in the old part of town, it's contemporary as tomorrow. It has one of the most well-rounded menus in the heart of the city, with something for almost every palate. The cooks roam the world for inspiration coming up with inventive touches. For example, instead of the usual spinach salad, you get additions such as pistachio nuts, squid, prawns, and a black ginger-laced sesame dressing. Dim sum arrives in steamy baskets with vegetables, and sea bass is served with a perfect accompaniment: a warm mushroom tartar from the forest. Suckling pig cutlets served Cantonese style with cabbage spring rolls are a delight, and veal liver saltimbocca is served with a salad of arugula and radicchio. Homemade sorbets are featured, although we prefer something more exotic from the chef's repertoire -- perhaps homemade black sesame ice cream with marinated rhubarb.
