Erected in the mid-1980s and located 2 blocks from the railway station, this is the largest hotel and the tallest building (14 stories) in Innsbruck. Its contemporary comfort and capacity for large-scale conferences have made it very popular as well. Rooms, especially those on the upper floors, provide a view over the baroque spires of Innsbruck and its mountains. All contain built-in furniture and extras you'd expect of a government-rated four-star hotel. Bathrooms tend to be small, with showers and tiny tubs. The Jackpot Bar provides slot fixes and drinks, depending on your whim and the time of day. Its restaurant, Guggeryllis, is well-recommended.
