Frommer's Review
Just north of Altstadt, this is perhaps the most popular place in Innsbruck. Lying in Hofgarten, it is especially packed in summer, and offers not only live music, but also indoor and outdoor seating. A lively crowd of young people, mostly in their 20s and 30s, is attracted to these precincts where more beer is consumed than anywhere else in town. You can opt for the home-brewed beer or else a wide selection of wines, many from such South American countries as Chile and Argentina. Long drinks cost from 6.50€ ($8.45), and you can also order platters for 8€ ($10) and up. It's open in summer daily from 11am to 4am. In winter, hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 6pm to 2am, and Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 4am.
