Hidden away from the marina on a back street, this is a good place to partake of some local culture. Popular with locals and tourists alike, it is often crowded, and you'll have to factor in a wait, even if you made reservations. The pizza, offered only in the evening, is one of the best you'll ever have and is a great favorite among children. Of the traditional seafood offerings, we recommend the well-prepared sautee di cozze (sautéed mussels) followed by the linguine alle vongole (with clams), and fritto misto (medley of deep fried squid and small fish).
