Occupying the second floor of a somewhat run-down, converted house, El Pecado de Sabor serves Thai, Mexican, Lebanese, and Panamanian food. It is a favorite with locals and travelers with a more sophisticated palate. It sounds like fusion-confusion, but the food comes together well despite its wide-ranging influences. Main courses are mostly seafood such as grilled tuna, snapper, sea bass, and jumbo shrimp served in sauces such as coconut-curry or spicy garlic, and their Thai soup is highly recommended. Light reggae music sets a funky mood, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. But most dining takes place on a balcony that sags so dramatically it feels ready to collapse. It's a little unsettling, and the extra-strength cocktails don't help much.
