This is definitely a hole in the wall, but a delicious one at that. Shelley's serves slow-cooked barbecue beef, chicken, and baby back ribs by the pound ($8), or as a meal with rice, beans, and salad. More popular are Shelley's outstanding tacos and quesadillas; at dinner they offer Mexican specialties such as chicken mole and enchiladas verdes. There isn't much to this place, just a walk-up ordering counter and a few bar-stool tables, making this the best spot for a quick but filling meal. Shelley's also sells food to go.
