The Cocomo is a pleasant little hotel tucked away behind a white picket fence and a lush garden, about a 5-minute walk to the central part of town. The hotel sits on the waterfront, and feels cool and fresh even on a muggy day. There are only four rooms, all pretty close to each other but bright and airy; each comes with a double bed and a twin. The bathrooms are clean but small. There is a spacious deck, with hammocks and lounge chairs, which is partially covered in case of rain. The hotel staff are friendly, and the American owner can help you plan any tour in the area -- although he's not around very much, so try to grab him when you can. Rate includes a good, hearty breakfast, and they have kayaks for guest use.
