Frommer's Review
This is one of the most inviting country homes on Skye. Built in 1851 as a private estate, it has been converted into a lochside hotel boasting dormers, chimneys, tower, and gables. The Skeabost owns 13km (8 miles) of the bank of the River Snizort, so it attracts many folks who come to fish. In addition, guests can play the hotel's par-3 golf course. The comfortable bedrooms come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The main dining room offers expensive table d'hôte menus focusing on seafood.
Facilities:
2 restaurants; 2 bars; 18-hole golf course; game room; room service (8am-10:30pm); babysitting; laundry service; nonsmoking rooms
