Frommer's Review
People's eyes light up at the mention of this highly popular restaurant positioned on the rooftop (top floor in winter) of the Zurich Hotel in the newly arrived expat-heavy neighborhood of Cihangir. But the view is almost besides the point here. The very freshest fish of the season is served here: amply sized bonito (palamut) or turbot (kalkan) costing upwards of 30YTL ($22) per kilo. However delectable is the fish, the real attraction here is the overwhelming selection of mezes. There are 30 varieties of wholesome forest greens all guaranteed to make you moan with pleasure: from nettles, to feverfew, to purslane, to "goat food." Don't miss the non-green mezes, in particular the mercemek köfetsi (lentil balls), and the monkfish salad. Indeed, load up on the appetizers and skip the main course.
