It's easy to see why visitors choose to stay in this small family-run establishment. Bahattin and his son Umit roll out the red carpet for everyone. The rooms are simple but charming; the bathrooms are spotless and functional; and air-conditioning comes in half the rooms -- the other half have ceiling fans. TVs were recently installed in the majority of the rooms, including the new suite, which also has high-speed Internet access and a Jacuzzi. The building next door was recently renovated into a multiroom, apartment-style annex (all suites), offering the opportunity for a real "local" experience. Breakfast is served to the soothing trickle of the garden fountain against the backdrop of an ancient Byzantine wall.
