Frommer's Review
With so much "boutique hotel" competition in the neighborhood these days, it's only because Fehmi Bey recently renovated its rooms that I decided to give it a second look. Now, rooms are much better aesthetically, with upgraded bathrooms and polished original wooden floors. But except for a handful of extraordinarily large rooms, most are claustrophobic, making me question the value of this hotel in a season of high demand. I suggest booking one of the three deluxe corner rooms (nos. 103, 203, and 303), which have equally ample bathrooms. A "family room" is actually two rooms, one of which has a foldout sofa bed for kids. Otherwise, you can't beat the location (steps from everything), plus the hotel offers the added bonus of a sauna and business center. As almost all hotels in the neighborhood, this one also boasts an incredible rooftop terrace; there's also a nice little garden.
Facilities:
Rooftop restaurant (summers only); bar; sauna; elevator; 24-hr. room service; laundry service; screening room; business center; secretarial services
