This little cluster of thatched-roof cottages effectively demonstrates what life was like in Kerry in the early 1800s. The museum village has a blacksmith's forge and house, turf-cutter's house, laborer's cottage, thatcher's dwelling, and tradesman's house. Stacks of cut turf are piled high by the road.
