This modern hotel on a hillside at the edge of Kenmare recently underwent a major renovation and expansion, and the changes are all for the better. Guest rooms have been spruced up, and given a sleeker look, with neutral paint and linens, and nicely modernized bathrooms. The lobby is brighter, more sophisticated and relaxing than before. New, self-catering cottages have been built around the central building, offering more options for travelers. It has a handy restaurant and bar. Still, the big draw here is the sweeping views from nearly all of the large windows.
