High on a mountain pass (288m/945 ft. above sea level) between Killarney and Kenmare, this isolated shop is an outpost of the famed County Wicklow weavers. As in all Avoca shops, the stock here features colorful, hand-woven blankets and throws, delicate knitted clothing, and pottery and jewelry in vivid colors. The excellent cafe makes a great place to stop for lunch or afternoon tea and cake. Closed from November to mid-March.
