The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra Beach

This gorgeous two-story Mediterranean-style building is right on the beach. A stunning lobby is decked out in stone floors and hand-carved Tommy Bahama furniture. All 66 rooms are the epitome of high-end luxury, with gorgeous artwork, two-person settees recessed in front of windows looking onto the beach, and huge bathrooms with two-person tubs and separate showers. The "preferred" rooms and all of the suites also have gas fireplaces; ceiling fans hang from vaulted ceilings in the upstairs units. Some suites have marble-faced fireplaces and French doors. The beach has a couples-only pool and hot tub. Guests here have access to all the facilities at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club . The Innlet Dining Room has gorgeous views, plus afternoon tea daily in the lounge, where a pianist performs by the fireplace at night. Note: There is a nightly gratuity charge of $15 per double room for the bellman, doorman, chambermaid, and valet-parking staff, so don't double tip.
