Car Trouble & Towing Services -- Jasper Towing has 24-hour service and trucks capable of towing your RV (tel. 780/852- 3849).

Drugstore -- Cavell Drugs has a pharmacist on duty (602 Patricia St.; tel. 780/852-4441).

Emergencies -- For fire, ambulance, or police, dial tel. 911. There are emergency call boxes located sporadically along major park highways. For park-related emergencies, contact the Warden Service, tel. 780/852-6155.

Gas Stations -- There are a handful of gas stations in the town of Jasper, including Avalanche Esso (702 Connaught Dr.; tel. 780/ 852-4721) and Jasper Shell (638 Connaught Dr.; tel. 780/852-3022). There is another gas station at Saskatchewan Crossing, just south of the border between Banff and Jasper national parks on Highway 93 (the Icefields Pkwy.) (tel. 403/761-7000). It is usually closed from mid-November to mid-March.
