Spotless, wholesome, and brightly decorated with contemporary tiles designed by the Jerusalem Pottery Workshop, the Coffee Shop is one of the best bets in the Old City. It serves a thick homemade soup of the day (as much as you want) plus a simple but very fresh all-you-can-eat salad bar. Tasty home-style bread and butter comes with your meal. Note: The Coffee Shop is occasionally closed at odd times for religious services.

When you enter Jaffa Gate, turn right just after David Citadel; it's on the left.
