For decades a favorite with Jerusalemites for an intimate, special night out, this is the traditional French restaurant of Katy Ohana, who sometimes draws on North African and local traditions to create her culinary style. The menu can change daily. The eggplant and goat cheese with basil, and mushrooms, salmon, and seafood with caviar sauce are among Ohana's well-known appetizers. Duckling with black currant sauce and her wonderful gooseliver are the acknowledged main course specialties. Ohana's wonderful, buttery brioches are a local legend. Servings are usually hefty. Lately, there have been all kinds of fixed-price specials that are far lower than the prices quoted below.
