Frommer's Review
Even with two levels of dining rooms and tables spread out onto the plaza at the Jaffa Road end of Rivlin Street, it's still sometimes hard to fit everyone into this popular kosher lemehadrin restaurant. Portions are big, delicious, and reasonably priced. Grab a tray and proceed to the counter, where English-speaking staff will explain the changing array of freshly baked vegetable pies in whole-wheat crusts, quiches, lasagnas, buckwheat burgers, and grilled tofu served with herbs or spicy peanut sauce. You can order just a cup of cold yogurt, garlic and cucumber soup beautifully flavored with dill, or a full meal with your choice of a custom-designed salad, steamed vegetables, and brown rice (all priced by weight) or hot soup, and a selection of great breads and desserts (including sugar-free). Until 11am on weekdays, there's a top quality, all-you-can-eat breakfast. Some macrobiotic foods are offered; however, microwave ovens are used.
