An interesting combination of European delicatessen and Franco-German-Swiss-Jewish cuisine, Hess is the brainchild of a well-known Swiss kosher sausage producer. There's home-style corned beef and tongue, both served either hot or in sandwiches with Dijon mustard; and there are sausages and salamis. You'll also find very substantial dinners such as pan-fried veal liver or foie gras, or oven baked lamb. The place is simple, but standards are very high.
