Inbal Hotel Review
For decades this was the popular Laromme Hotel. The 1980s-style Inbal was originally slated to be a skyscraper, but public pressure demanded it be redesigned as a low-rise that would not clash with the city's skyline. The result is an interesting structure set at the edge of Liberty Bell Park (a plus for children) and built around a balconied atrium lobby. A new Executive Lounge was opened in 2008, but other public areas and guest rooms need updating. Rooms come in two sizes; the larger (maximum) rooms are spacious, with luxurious bathrooms, and cost about $70 (£35) additional for a double. There are 14 well-appointed suites. The outdoor pool is covered with an air balloon and heated for winter swimming. Tip: Guests get triple El Al points for each stay. Facilities: Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip. Related Features

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
