Frommer's Review
Situated on a small hill, the banner of St. Andrew waving from its tower, and surrounded by a garden with panoramic views of Mount Zion and the Old City, this guesthouse is only a few steps from the railroad station and the Khan Theater. Rooms are simple but spotless; there is one handicapped-accessible ground-floor room. There's a lounge well stocked with reading material; a new dining room where you can make free tea or coffee all day; and the building is adorned with beautiful examples of Armenian ceramic tiles from the 1930s, which were created by Jerusalem's famous Palestinian Pottery Workshop. The efficient and friendly Scottish staff offers a hearty $11 dinner. Sunbula, a nonprofit shop selling fine Palestinian embroidery and local crafts, is also on the premises; and the Jerusalem Cinémathèque is across the road.
