Frommer's Review
This rustic, recently opened restaurant inside the Jerusalem Artists' House at the Old Bezalel Art School has a very well-stocked bar that has attracted some of the journalists, politicians and Jerusalem personalities who used to frequent the legendary Fink's Bar, which closed in 2005 after a 68-year run. Like Fink's, Mona serves meals very late into the night (including tapas and half-portions of main courses in case you want a bit of something solid to wash down your drinks), but the spirit of the place is younger, and there are no Fink's-style bartenders with ponderous charisma. Mona's is known for meats and seafood, is smoky, and has a fireplace, which on cold nights is sometimes used. Saturday to Thursday, 7pm to midnight. Closed Fridays.
