Frommer's Review
Built on a sloping hill on a cliff's edge, the Ritz boasts absolutely breathtaking ocean views that immediately greet you upon arrival in the open-air lobby. The newly built ocean pool, located at the bottom of the resort down a winding flight of stairs, is one of the best in Bali -- it sits right above the crashing waves at Jimbaran. The hotel is certainly not cheap, but its unique ocean views, spectacular service, and public amenities make it a good value. Rooms are comfy, with four-poster beds, marble floors, and elegant neoclassical touches. The private villas, with their own plunge pool, outdoor and indoor day beds, and ocean views, are simply stunning. The spa, designed with pavilions and running streams of water, is also one of the best in Bali. It's worth a stop even if you aren't staying here -- visit the Aquatonic therapy pool (with currents and jets to give you a workout and massage) at sunset for a particularly romantic experience.
