The Westcliff ReviewThis is our favorite Johannesburg leisure hotel, a pink "village" clinging to the steep incline of Westcliff ridge (you park at reception and are shuttled up along winding cobbled lanes). Hanging on the lip of the large infinity pool, the green suburbs of northern Johannesburg spread out before you; as dusk approaches, watch the sky turn pink over the spectacle of the endless forested canopy, forever changing your perception of this sprawling city. Guest rooms vary considerably -- each is uniquely positioned and sized, but understated elegance is the order of the day, and the palatial marble bathrooms are a real treat.
