RestaurantsBesides the accommodations listed here, and the snack bar at the Ásbyrgi campsite, the only dining option near Ásbyrgi is the N1 gas station on Route 85, and in high season the few tables are often full. Some kind of fish plate is added to the usual burger and sandwich offerings. Hours are 9am to 10pm from mid-June through August, with earlier closing times in the off season.
