Toyoko Inn Kagoshima Tenmonkan No. 2, 1-43 Higashi Sengoku-cho (tel. 099/224-1045; www.toyoko-inn.com), offers the usual lobby computers with free Internet access, free Wi-Fi in the lobby, and free domestic calls from lobby phones, charging ¥5,460 for a single and ¥8,190 double, including a Japanese breakfast.
