Frommer's Review
A few blocks east of 18th and Vine, this unpretentious self-serve restaurant, with origins stretching back to the early 1920s, is the most famous -- and some swear the best -- barbecue joint in town. White bread smothered with tender barbecued meat and barbecued ribs are the specialties, along with Bryant's signature gritty sauce and lard-fried fries.
