Restaurants on the Plaza seem to come and go with the swiftness of the changing of the seasons, but this casual cafe with a European atmosphere has proven its staying power as a local favorite. Its glass facade and sidewalk seating make it a perfect spot for people-watching; there's also a backyard patio. Pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, steaks, and seafood are listed on a changing menu that may include such entrees as pan-seared salmon stuffed with Alaskan snow crab. Make reservations early for Sunday brunch, which has its own menu of breakfast and lunch items.
