Frommer's Review
Art-loving gourmets who can't possibly fit another museum into their tight itinerary, rejoice: This hip venue combines contemporary art and cuisine. Within the confines of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, it boasts a cheerful setting of art-packed walls and an "outdoor" terrace under a glass ceiling. The menu, which changes weekly to take advantage of local organic produce, may include the likes of pan-seared crab cakes with horseradish slaw and rémoulade. Few can resist a whirl through the free museum with its innovative temporary exhibits and permanent collection that rotates works by Jasper Johns, Pollock, Rauschenberg, Motherwell, de Kooning, Mapplethorpe, and others.
