Hotel Europa ReviewThe imposing stucco Hotel Europa is the first thing you see when you head for the Karlovac exit off the Zagreb-Rijeka autocesta. It's painted pink. Opened in 2003, the Europa caters to tourists and businesspeople alike, and it is especially handy as a stopover if you want to visit nearby Plitvice Lakes National Park or if you want to take a leisurely trip to the Adriatic coast. Among the local excursions the hotel can arrange is a picnic along area wine roads, complete with a map and a basket full of locally grown/produced foods.
