Those who have fantasies about spending a night in a prison can get their wish granted here -- but they'll get comfort too. Back in the mid-19th century, this establishment was a penitentiary, and there remains a prison museum in its basement. Today it's been successfully converted into a hotel where you won't feel imprisoned at all. The exterior is still a bit foreboding, but inside it warms considerably. The public rooms have been tastefully decorated, as have the rather small bedrooms. Even though it's a bizarre setting for a hotel, the place has its devotees and does a lot of repeat business with visiting Swedes.
