Katoomba YHA Hostel

This wonderful YHA hostel has won several major tourism awards. It's set in a former 1930s cabaret club and still retains some of the fun atmosphere. It's very roomy and friendly, and also well located in the heart of Katoomba. There's a fireplace in the living room (usually with log fire), a communal kitchen, a dining room, a game room with billiards table, and a television. Also here is a nice balcony and barbecue area. Some double rooms include a set of bunks for kids. Dorm rooms accommodate four to eight people. People from all walks of life, and of all ages, stay here and rave about the place.
